The City of Woburn's annual Lions Club Halloween Parade will close Main Street from the 128/38 rotary to the Winchester line on October 25th, 2026 from 12:45pm to 4:00pm. The MBTA Bus Route 134 will be suspended along the parade route during this time.
Mayor Concannon is hosting a free document shred event at Woburn City Hall on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents can bring outdated papers and documents to be shredded for free. Documents should be brought in paper bags only. The event aims to help residents protect their personal information and fight against identity theft.

This Saturday, October 24th, 2026, the Woburn Police Department will participate in the DEA Drug Take Back Day from 10am to 2pm at 25 Harrison Avenue. Residents can bring expired or unused medications for proper disposal. The service is free and anonymous, and will accept tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid prescription forms, as well as sealed liquid products. No syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs are accepted.
