Yard waste pick-up schedule available

The City of Woburn reminds residents to bag or compost their leaves, rather than raking them into the street or dumping them down storm drains, as this can cause flooding and water pollution. Residents can adopt a storm drain in their neighborhood to help prevent local flooding. The city has two yard waste pick-up weeks left this spring, on the weeks of May 19 and June 9, with 7 additional pick-up weeks in 2025. Residents can also mix leaves into their compost pile, use a mulching mower to create mulch, or check catch basins for blockages. For more information, residents can visit the Health Department's page or the Stormwater Web Information Hub Page.
